Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and verify contents against purchase orders or shipping documents.
- Inspect and check the quality of received goods, report discrepancies, and manage inventory accuracy.
- Store and organize products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper placement and efficient space utilization.
- Pick orders accurately according to picking lists or customer orders, preparing them for shipment.
- Pack and label items appropriately, ensuring proper packaging and adherence to shipping guidelines.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to move goods within the warehouse.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, adhering to safety standards and procedures.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts) is a plus.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects or packages.
- Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in performing warehouse tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
