Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, order, and tidiness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, set cleaning schedules, and assign tasks efficiently to maintain high productivity levels.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards and promptly address any issues or maintenance requirements.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and efficient utilization to minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure timely repairs and maintenance of housekeeping equipment and facilities.
- Implement and maintain safety and hygiene protocols, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Prepare reports on housekeeping activities, inventory, and staff performance for management review.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or in a similar managerial role within the hospitality industry.
- In-depth knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and sanitation standards.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management and budgeting.
- Certification in housekeeping or hospitality management is a plus.
