Key Responsibilities:
- Brewing Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of brewing operations, including recipe adherence, ingredient sourcing, mashing, boiling, fermentation, and packaging, to maintain consistent and high-quality brews.
- Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that our products meet quality standards. Conduct regular taste tests, quality checks, and analysis to maintain product consistency.
- Staff Supervision and Training: Lead and supervise brewing staff, assign tasks, provide training, conduct performance evaluations, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop production schedules, coordinate with other departments, manage inventory levels, and ensure efficient production workflows to meet demand.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee maintenance schedules for brewing equipment and facilities. Coordinate repairs and maintenance to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards, brewing licenses, and environmental regulations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and cost optimization in brewing operations. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Brewing Science, Food Science, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in a brewery or similar role, with a comprehensive understanding of brewing processes and equipment.
