4 Better Ways To Enter Canada

Do you know how many people migrate to Canada in a year? I’m sure you do; after all, you must have done your research. If you are desirous of entering Canada, you must have your reasons, and I’m confident they’re valid; even if it’s to go and cruise, you deserve the chillaxing. Anyways, since you fall into the category of Canada chasers, then this post could be your eyeopener to what you must do. So, take a look at our options that you might want to try out:

1. Express Entry

This has become one of the best ways to enter Canada since its launch on 1st January 2015. Express Entry is a selection system used to select skilled and qualified workers by the Canadian government, to fill some labour gaps via specific economic immigration programs. It involves a ranking system in which applicants are put on a list, and the top-ranking are given an ITA (Invitation to Apply) for a permanent resident status based on the following: age, education, language, proficiency, and work experience, and so forth.

And if you intend to take your family along with you, Express Entry is genuinely a sure way for you guys to port permanently to Canada within the space of a few months.

2. Provincial Nominee Program

This program is another sure plug because as many as 250,000 folks are proposed to get Canadian permanent residence through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) between 2021 and 2023. The program functions as a critical part of Canada’s immigration policy as every year, the federal government of Canada raises the number of invitations for PNP applicants.

Except for Quebec, each province operates several PNP streams designed by the regions to assist and meet their unique goals of immigration based on their specific economic and demographic needs; thus, the eligibility criteria and application procedures vary.

3. Family Sponsorship

Zooming in on family immigration affairs, the scope here will be on the Canada Inland Spousal/Common-Law Sponsorship and Parent or Grandparent Sponsorship.

The Spousal Sponsorship program is a subdivision of the Family Class immigration category. A Canadian or permanent resident may sponsor their spouse or common-law partner for Canadian permanent residence. The resident becomes the sponsor while the spouse or partner under common law becomes sponsored.

In 2017/2018, the Parent and Grandparent Program (PGP) introduced a lottery system that randomly selected applicants. In 2019, the PGP was reversed to a first-come, first-served system. In the same year’s selection process, a Sponsor form first had to be submitted by the Canadian citizens and permanent residents on the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website.

4. Quebec-Selected Skilled Workers

An exception was previously made about Quebec, so now, we’ll be addressing the issue for those of you who are Quebec fans. The Quebec skilled workers program (QSW) is an immigration program operated by the province of Quebec for candidates who are both professional and have work experience and are also willing to make continuous contributions to Quebec’s economy as members of the workforce. Also, it is not expedient to learn French and show proficiency in French. Therefore, as an English speaker, you need not fear being asked for it to reside in Quebec.
